With the Launch of the US' Largest Tech Startup Event, Startups Have a New Reason to Go to New York

NY TechDay is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever before. To celebrate its 5th anniversary, the TechDay team is doing a lot to make sure that this event will be one to remember.

To start, TechDay is making the move to the expansive Pier 94. Double the size of last year’s venue, Pier 94 is the ideal place to host the always enthusiastic New York tech and startup community.

In addition to 550+ tech / startup exhibitors & 30,000 attendees, TechDay will be introducing Accelerator Alley in NYC after its success at their DC event this past October. Accelerator Alley will be devoted to 30 of the top accelerators who help thrust startups forward. Impressive accelerators like 500 Startups, Startup Bootcamp and Mass Challenge will all be in attendance as they hope to help startups reach their full potential.

This year also includes the debut of two live demo stages, which will give companies the opportunity to promote their products and provide attendees with an inside look at the latest in innovation. It is the perfect way for companies to show the community what they are working on and to create a ton of buzz around their products.

The mixture of exhibiting startups is what makes this event so special. Past exhibitors include startups just launching as well as bigger names like Uber, ZocDoc, Betterment and Gilt.

Duane Wells, founder of CertSpring, a startup that launched at a previous event had this to say about the experience and the TechDay team:

"Launching our company at Techday was an amazing experience. I was astonished that the press put out before the show resulted in traffic to my website, and the fact that you actually brought people over to my booth to introduce us to was incredible. I really appreciate all of time and help you and your staff provided us.  I would recommend this to any startup in the technology field that is trying to gain traction and exposure in the business community.”

Previous events have also played host to household names such as IBM, Mastercard, Intel, GA, Wework, Indiegogo and Collegehumor, giving attendees the opportunity to meet a wide range of people from more established companies.

The TechDay team is thrilled to officially announce that NY TechDay 2016 will be on April 14th at Pier 94.

Registration is officially open. You can register to attend for free here. Or register to exhibit your tech startup here. You don’t want to miss out on what is sure to be an unforgettable event.
