Don't forget to ask for help.
The evolution of a startup is outlined as such:
The Idea - Every startup begins with an idea. A problem. Something that bugs you so much it keeps you up at night. "Why hasn’t anyone solved this already?" you wonder. Usually it’s nothing too revolutionary, but it’s an idea that feels big enough, annoying enough, and hopefully monetizing enough to inspire you to take action.
The action. The movement of getting the idea out there. How to translate it to others. Where to put the idea. Who should have that information.
The Share. Sharing the idea. Arguably the most nerve racking but thrilling part of it all. The vulnerable part. Being open to rejection but validating your conviction by how much you don’t care what others think.
The gathering. Adding contributors. Choosing the right teammates. Figuring out who will be the best match to help you with your vision. Saying no, and saying yes, but ultimately having faith.
The courage and faith. Letting go. The realization that “failure” is as certain as “success” but that you’re open to whatever the outcome is. Reminding yourself, as long as you’re committed and giving your 100% there’s not much to lose.
Go for it, but don't forget to ask for help. You're not alone.
