TechDay is still going to happen... just not the way we expected it to
March 13, 2020
Dear TechDay Community,
Earlier this afternoon, in accordance with governmental guidelines, the Javits Center announced that they would not host any events before April 22nd, making it impossible for us to produce TechDay New York as originally scheduled.
As a result, we have rescheduled TechDay New York. The event will now take place on October 23rd, at the Javits Center, in Exhibit Hall 1A.
In addition, we have made the decision to reschedule TechDay Founders Summit; it will take place on August 14th, at Convene, at 730 3rd Avenue, in New York City.
If you have already registered to exhibit at or attend either or both of these events, there is nothing more you need to do at this time. Your registration will automatically transfer to these new dates.
We have also been in touch with all of our speakers and sponsors to alert them to these changes in dates. Nearly all of them have already reconfirmed their participation, and those that have not yet reconfirmed expect to be able to do so within the coming days.
We will continue to use our website and social media channels to keep you informed about all things TechDay, including how we plan to help the community connect until we are all able to come together in person a few months from now.
As difficult as this time has been, we here at team TechDay have been struck by the kindness, empathy, and support that we have seen shared amongst the members of this ecosystem.
That camaraderie is what makes it so clear that we are indeed all in this together, and together we will continue to work to achieve successful & sustainable business growth.
On a personal note, I recognize that these are unsettling, and for some, scary times. I hope that you and the people you care about stay safe and well throughout this trying time.
