Nicole Quinn is an investor at Lightspeed Venture Partners, where she focuses on early stage consumer technology companies. At her core, Nicole is passionate about trends in human behavior, especially consumer technology and helping entrepreneurs that have the ability to improve our everyday lives. Some of her past investments include companies such as Zola, the Rothy’s, and Dote, the virtual mall. Previously, Nicole spent 8 years at Morgan Stanley covering the European and US e-commerce, retail and consumer companies. She has also worked at RAMCO VC specializing in healthcare and consumer investments. Later, she moved to Nutmeg, a London based Technology company, where she completed a fund-raising process, raising $32M in their Series B. Nicole holds a degree in math and economics from the University of York, England and an MBA from Stanford Business School.

Course Description:

Voice is becoming an increasingly frequent way to access technology- think about how we ask Siri or Alexa things like “what’s the weather” or “how many cups are in a pint”. But what if voice was the way we connected the world’s population. Voice could be the next successful platform for things like commerce, news, games, and more. This talk will explore ways that could become a reality.
