Fostering a Collaborative Ecosystem for Innovation: Maximizing the Benefits of Corporate Engagement with Startups
Matt Ross is Product Partnership Lead for Verizon’s Consumer Product Innovation group where he leads the incubation of new concepts by leveraging partnerships with the startup ecosystem. Matt got his start as an engineer as one of the first ten employees at Factual. Thereafter, he helped create the product management organization at Laserfiche and launched personalization for AmazonFresh as a Technical Product Manager. He ran University of Michigan’s Zell Lurie seed fund and advised startups at Techstars Mobility in Detroit. Ross holds a BS from UCLA in Mathematics and Computation and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan where he was honored as a Ross Fellow.
The days of locking yourself away and coming up with a new product or company are over. The world is moving towards co-creation and co-innovation.
