Lily is a privately funded startup dedicated to enhancing the human experience with simple, easy to use robotics. Lily began in September 2013, after a summer vacation CEO Antoine Balaresque took with his family revealed the difficulties of capturing memories without either excluding the photographer from the shot, or cutting out much of the scenery.
Lily’s flagship product, the Lily Camera, is the world’s first autonomous throw-and-shoot-camera. The product combines computer vision, GPS, and stable, high-resolution image capture to granting users the freedom to create stunning content unencumbered by handheld controls.
Since introducing Lily Camera to the world in May 2015, Lily has amassed $34 million in pre-order sales, poised to ship over 60 thousand pre-order units across the globe this summer.
