At Headlight AI we are using artificial intelligence (AI) to optimise sensors and enhance situational awareness. Light based sensing, radar, and imagery, allow autonomous systems to sense, map, and navigate. But handling the vast amounts of data generated from sensors in real-time is a massive challenge. In addition, there are still many places and conditions where these sensors fail to operate effectively. For example, in times of poor visibility, such as in fog or heavy rain, or in smoke or dust filled environments. We efficiently process data in real-time and ensure sensors adapt to their environment, so that they operate in previously inaccessible or extreme environments. Our proprietary compressive sensing and deep learning algorithms enable this adaptive sensing and mapping technology for autonomous systems.
