Crypta Labs is an award-winning quantum & mobile security startup working to secure the Internet of Things through enhanced encryption.

We’re doing that by developing a Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) (a security chip and API) for use on a mobile device.

Current Random Number Generators (RNGs), use algorithms implemented in the cryptographic routines, making them “Pseudo RNG” (PRNG); the resulting encryption is undermined by their pseudo-random nature. Full security can be achieved by a True Random Number Generator (TRNG) i.e. devices which produce bits that are truly unpredictable, as they come from a physical, random process.
